CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WARRANTY POLICY

In an effort to provide superior customer service, Allison Homes, Inc. provides a "Pro-active" customer service program. Approximately 90 days and 11 months after your home closed, we will mail a “Request For Service” form directly to you. You have two options; you can fill out the simple request form and mail it or submit your request electronically via e-mail or fax. The 90 day and 11 month request periods were carefully chosen at strategically beneficial periods. A 90 day period provides enough time for you to move in, relax and discover your new home. By 11 months, most normal service items are typically observed and reported, allowing for a complete final, “full” service prior to the expiration of the initial one year warranty.

Non-Emergency Repairs: In the event repairs are needed, we will contact you and establish a repair date shortly after receiving your written service request. Repair work is generally started within 10 to 14 days of receipt of a written “Request For Service”. Non-emergency repairs will be made Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Emergency repairs: At closing, you will be furnished with our service technician’s direct number and a list of the mechanical contractors who worked on your home including their phone numbers. If an emergency repair is required, you are asked to contact the mechanical contractor directly and then notify our office or service technician so that we may follow-up and monitor the repair. Emergency repairs will be made by the original contractor as soon as possible, subject to the availability of parts and service personnel.

LIMITED WARRANTY

A written, insurance backed, limited warranty is furnished at closing. The warranty documents contain the specific terms and conditions of your warranty coverage, the documents also include an established “Performance Standard” that specifies warranty and repair standards. The following is a brief summary of our warranty and are subject to the warranties “Performance Standard”. The date your Certificate of Occupancy is issued establishes the start date for the “term” of your warranty. Warranty coverage takes affect on the final settlement/closing date.

First Year: All items furnished by us are covered against defect in material and labor by Allison Homes.

Second Year: Major mechanical items are covered against defects by Allison Homes.

Closing Through Year Six: Major structural items are covered by the warranty company, Residential Warranty Corp. providing a sense of security, knowing your home is structurally protected by a warranty company.

Manufactures Limited Warranty: Many items in your new home are covered by a warranty provided directly by the manufacturer. These warranties may extend in some cases up to 20 years, copies of these warranties will be provided at closing.

HOW TO REPORT CUSTOMER SERVICE

We ask that all requests for service are in writing. Except for emergencies, please use the “Request For Service Form” which can be sent to our office via US mail, email, or by fax to 866-786-8024. If you prefer to E-mail a “Request For Service”, we ask that you include a fully executed request form whenever possible, or that you include within your email, all information listed on the ““Request For Service”” form and send it to Service@AllisonHomes.com.
